Our Story
1997
Establishment of WAS (Wayfare Aviation Services) and exclusive representation of SAS Airlines.
1998
Exclusive representation of Spanair Airlines.
1999
Exclusive representation of Alliance Air.
2001
Exclusive representation of the Hotelair Srl reservation system.
2002
Creation of B2B travel packages for Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, and all Scandinavian countries.
2004
Establishment of Travel Ideas LLC – Travel Idea LTD.
2006
Merger of WAS and Travel Idea LTD, along with a share capital increase. Shareholding structure comprised of Mr. Anastasios Georgopoulos and Mr. Ilias Georgopoulos.
2007
Establishment of a dedicated Corporate Client Services department and a specialized M.I.C.E. (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) division.
2009
Establishment of a dedicated Marine & Shipping Services department.
2010
Creation of B2B travel packages for Central Europe (Prague, Vienna, Budapest).
2012
Investment in the retail market with a dedicated department for worldwide tours.
2014
Establishment of a dedicated Sales department.
2016
Expansion of the company’s operations into Cyprus.
2019
Establishment of a dedicated Incoming Tourism department, along with a presence and partnerships in selected international markets.
